Career Among many roles, she appeared in one of 's later films, (1972), as a woman raped and strangled by a serial killer, in one of the most graphic murder scenes Hitchcock ever filmed. Hitchcock's daughter, , personally found the scene so disturbing, she would not let her children view the film for many years. Leigh-Hunt also played Lady Catherine de Bourgh in , and provided the voices of Captain Mildred and Mary the Hover Fairy in the series . She has also appeared in such films as (1990), (2000) and much work on , mainly in guest character parts. Autograph is signed in Black Sharpie.
