Bill Conti (born April 13, 1942). Is an film music composer who is frequently the conductor at the ceremony. "" topped the Billboard singles chart in 1977. He also composed music for the sequels (1979), (1982), (1990) and (2006). He wrote the music for the film, .

In 1983, he composed the score for HBO's first film, The Terry Fox Story. Conti composed music for the films and . Then in 1984, he received an Academy Award for composing the score to 1983's followed by composing music for the TV series in 1985. He also composed the score for as well as the live action movie. In 1999 he composed the score for remake, starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.

In 1993, he composed and wrote the music for The Adventures of Huck Finn starring Elijah Wood [The Lord of the Rings] and directed by Stephen Sommers [The Mummy, The Mummy Returns].

He also composed the themes to television's (as well as doing the score for the three hour pilot, and episode after that), , , , and . Conti also composed the theme song to the original version of , worked with on the movie jingle, composed one of the early themes to , and wrote the theme to for . In addition he composed the score to the studio altered American version of 's .

Autograph is signed in Black Sharpie. There is an inscription that says "Best Wishes" on it.
