This is a first day cover of Roberto Clemente from 1997. It was created by Z silk for the 25th Anniversary of Roberto Clemente's death and postmarked from Dec. 31, 1997 in San Juan, P.R. The photo to the left shows a closeup of Roberto and a picture of Roberto Ready to catch a baseball. The artwork was done by Susan Rini. The words speak of the plane crash and the humanitarian things that he was known for. This is a truly rare first day cover. Very few of these exist!!!
