Roberto Clemente Statue Dedication Button

This button was created to raise money for the statue of Roberto Clemente outside of Three Rivers Stadium. It was to commemorate those people that actually attended the event. The button says “I was there” – July 8th, 1994. There is a great picture of the statue on the button. These were only on sale for the one day and not for sale at any store.
