1994 Roberto Clemente Statue Dedication FDC-Fanfest

This is a first day cover of Roberto Clemente from 1994. It was created by Z silk for the Roberto Clemente Statue Dedication and postmarked from July 8-12, 1994 in Pittsburgh, Pa at the All Star Fanfest Station. The photo to the left shows a closeup of Roberto and a picture of him going over the fence to catch a ball. The artwork was done by Susan Rini. The words speak of the all star game and the dedication of the Roberto Clemente statue outside Three Rivers Stadium. This is a truly rare first day cover. Very few of these exist!!!
